Friday 4 July:
ShowSeries 1 6PM UAE - Utopia, pt 1
Sunday 6 July:
Prime New Zealand 7PM - Voyage Of The Damned (4th Series Premiere!)
ABC1 Australia 7:30PM - Partners In Crime
Jimmy Italy 7:55PM - The Runaway Bride (3rd Series Premiere!)
Friday 19 September:
CBC 9PM (9:30PM Newfoundland) - 4th Series Premiere!
UK - The Stolen Earth airs tonight at 7:10PM (BBC One), Sunday at 8PM
(BBC Three), and Friday at 8:55PM (BBC Three). Listings magazines
have the episode at 50 minutes. Episodes are on iPlayer for UK
residents for one week after each broadcast. And please make certain
that your friends, family, and mortal enemies have *seen* the episode
before you tell them your theories about how Leela and Tegan are the
same merged entity - sorry!, stopping now. Don't do something like
that - especially regarding characters that are actually in the
episodes.
Amazing to think - next week is the 4th Series finale already.
Journey's End is 65 minutes long and premieres on BBC One
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone Saturday 5 July at 6:40PM BST. BBC Three
airings Sunday 6 July at 7:30PM and Friday 11 July at 8:30PM BST.
After that, the Christmas special and 4 episodes in 2009 before the
next full series in 2010.
Sarah Jane Adventures series 1 (minus Invasion Of The Bane) begins a
weekly repeat run Monday at 5:15PM on CBBC
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc , presumably as preparation for Series 2's
premiere this Autumn.
Series 4 repeats begin on BBC Three http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree on
Monday 14 July at 7PM with Partners In Crime. Looks like it will be a
three day a week schedule instead of the 5 days of previous years,
due to other BBC Three programming committments on Thursdays and
Fridays.
Tom Baker episodes are still airing erraticly on UKTV Drama http://www.uktv.co.uk/drama most days in the 5AM hour. A repeat run of Series 1 and 2 (with some episode missing) begins on UKTV Gold http://www.uktv.co.uk/gold Monday 21 July at 7AM and 4PM.
SciFi Channel UK http://www.scifi.co.uk has a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend marathon of classic Doctor Who (23 to 25 August) coming up, which implies a new home for Classic Doctor Who in the UK as autumn approaches.
Iceland - RUV - The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service
http://www.ruv.is aired Series 1 of Doctor Who last year without
being discovered by the world community. Thanks to Mark in Iceland
for catching them this time as Series 2 is currently running. The
next few episodes are Saturdays at 6:05PM. Doctor Who is known as
Timaflakk in Iceland.
Australia - ABC1 http://www.abc.net.au/tv premieres Series 4 this
Sunday 29 June at 7:30PM. ABC Australia will air cut down versions of
the Confidential episodes this year for the first time, starting
immediately after Partners In Crime on 6 July.
Italy - Jimmy http://www.jimmy140.it begins Series 3 of Who Sunday 6 July (The Runaway Bride). Episodes air many times during the week, though currently most airings are after Midnight.
New Zealand - Prime http://www.primetv.co.nz has scheduled Series 4
to premiere Sunday 6 June at 7PM with Voyage Of The Damned. Beginning
with Partners In Crime on 13 July, episodes air at 7:30PM. It is
assumed that the other 13 episodes will follow weekly. Thanks to the
New Zealand Doctor Who Fan Club http://nzdwfc.tetrap.com for the
information.
USA - no new episode in the next week due to the 4th of July
Independence Day holiday (SciFi has their semi-annual Twilight Zone
marathon, and the audience for a new episode that night would have
been miniscule). Some developments for the public TV stations airing
Series 1 and 2 - see Section B for details.
CANADA - there is apparently breaking news about one of the stations
due to air Series 4. But I do not have it at publication time. I will
try to edit it into the Outpost Gallifrey mirror of the column when I
know what the news is.
Torchwood schedule information is included in the Torchwood This Week
column http://groups.yahoo.com/group/torchwood .

2 or 3 Episodes going up per month, it seems. Illusion TV is a
service providing science fiction On Demand programming to cable
providers (no deals with satellite companies yet). If your digital
cable service has Illusion TV, all programming is offered for free
with commercials. See the website to determine if your provider may
offer this service. Based on the paucity of information on the
episodes airing, I guess they want you to get the service before you
know what you will be seeing.

amusing manner. Format seems to be extending to commentaries of

right after the show finishes. With the Independence Day holiday on
